30-Day Returns

If you or your cat aren't completely satisfied with your purchase, return it within 30 days for a full refund—no questions asked.

What's Covered

  • Full refund of purchase price (product cost + original shipping)
  • All products in new or gently used condition
  • Returns initiated within 30 days of delivery
  • Defective or damaged items (we cover return shipping)

How to Return an Item

  1. Contact Us

    Email returns@gabhanpets.com with your order number and reason for return. We'll respond within 24 hours.

  2. Receive Return Label

    For defective/damaged items, we'll email you a prepaid return label. For change-of-mind returns, you'll receive instructions and can use your preferred carrier.

  3. Pack & Ship

    Pack the item securely in its original packaging (if possible). Attach the return label and drop it off at any carrier location.

  4. Get Your Refund

    Once we receive and inspect your return (typically 2-3 business days), we'll process your refund. Expect it to appear in your account within 5-7 business days.

✓ Return Conditions

What Qualifies as "Gently Used"?

  • ✓ Product has been assembled and tested with your cat
  • ✓ Minor wear from normal use (scratches, paw marks, fur)
  • ✓ All original parts and accessories included
  • ✓ Original packaging available (preferred but not required)
  • ✗ Excessive damage from misuse or abuse
  • ✗ Missing major components or accessories
  • ✗ Obvious hygiene concerns (urine, feces, strong odors)

Return Shipping Costs

  • Defective/Damaged Items: We cover all return shipping costs via prepaid label
  • Change of Mind: Customer pays return shipping (typically $8-15 via USPS)
  • Wrong Item Sent: We cover all return shipping and expedite replacement

🔧 Product Warranty

1-Year Quality Guarantee

All Gabhan Pets products are covered by a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects and material failures.

Covered Issues:

  • Pad sensor malfunctions (false triggers, no response)
  • Electronic component failures (motor, lights, sounds)
  • Structural defects (broken tracks, loose connections)
  • Material degradation under normal use

Not Covered:

  • Normal wear and tear (scratched surfaces, faded colors)
  • Damage from misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications
  • Consumable components (replacement pads after normal lifespan)
  • Cosmetic issues that don't affect functionality

🔄 Replacement Pads

Replacement sensor pads are considered consumable components with an expected lifespan of 6-12 months depending on usage intensity.

Pad Return Policy

  • Unused Pads: Full refund within 30 days of purchase
  • Used Pads: Not eligible for return unless defective (see warranty)
  • Defective Pads: Covered under 1-year warranty—we'll send free replacements

What's a Defective Pad?

  • Sensor fails to detect paw pressure within first 30 days of use
  • Adhesive fails to stick to track surface
  • Pad physically deteriorates faster than expected (holes, tears within 3 months)

🌍 International Returns

We accept returns from international customers with some additional considerations:

  • 30-Day Window: Still applies from delivery date
  • Return Shipping: Customer responsible for international return shipping costs
  • Customs Fees: Original customs/import fees are non-refundable
  • Refund Currency: Refunded in original purchase currency
  • Defective Items: We'll cover return shipping for manufacturing defects (contact us first)

↔️ Exchanges

We currently don't offer direct exchanges. To exchange an item:

  1. Return your original item following our return process
  2. Once processed, place a new order for the desired item
  3. Your refund will be available within 5-7 business days

Pro Tip: If you need the replacement urgently, place a new order immediately and we'll expedite your refund once the return is received.
